Uni-Fit distributors supply modular handrail and barrier fittings to fabricators, builders, fencing contractors and trade customers across Australia. There’s no obligation to hold stock, a Gold distributorship starts with a $2,000 opening order, and territories are capped so you aren’t competing with three other outlets down the road.
We’re Australian owned with more than 50 years of industry experience and warehouses in Sydney and Melbourne. There are around 30 distributors on the network, and we’re actively growing in Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

The Hammertone gondola is a freestanding unit, 900mm wide by 2,100mm high, with four basket shelves and a base shelf holding the full component range. If you’d rather use shelving you already have, the blue bucket option fits the same stock into heavy duty plastic tubs across a 900mm shelf.
We cap the number of distributors in any given area rather than signing up everyone who applies.
Regional areas run a maximum of two to three Gold distributors and two Silver distributors. Major cities are spread strategically so each distributor holds exclusivity over its immediate area.
That cap is also why leads work the way they do. Phone and website enquiries are passed through to the distributor covering that area, and because areas aren’t oversubscribed there’s a clear owner for every enquiry that comes in.
Product catalogues and physical samples
Handrail fittings are hard to sell from a photograph. The full-scale display model lets a customer put their hands on it and work out what they need, which shortens the conversation considerably.
If you’d rather start light, the catalogue kit is free and gives you enough to open conversations with your trade customers and see if the range fits your market.
Onboarding includes free onsite training and setup of the gondola system, so your counter staff aren’t left working it out from a catalogue. Ongoing product training runs both online and onsite.
The system connects 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm and 80mm nominal bore posts using only nine items, and the fittings rake up to 80 degrees on site. Staff who know the combinations can answer a customer question in thirty seconds instead of sending someone away to measure again.
Stock is held in Australia across both our Victorian and New South Wales warehouses. Lead times run two to three days for stock items and three to four weeks for manufactured items.
